Protecting eligible transactions
Our Buyer Protection Policy helps you in the unlikely event you have a problem with an eligible purchase. If an item doesn’t arrive or match the seller’s description, we’ll help you recover the full purchase price (up to $20,000), including shipping costs.

Some things you need to do to be eligible
- Buy physical items that can be shipped.
- Pay for your item with PayPal.
- Pay in a single payment.
- Lodge a dispute within 45 days of payment.
- If we ask you to return the item to the seller, do so using the address we provide in the “Outcome of claim” email.
If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can sign up for one when you lodge the dispute.
